Job summary

IMS Gear in Gainesville, GA is seeking a hands-on Machine Operator (CNC) to load/unload parts, make basic adjustments, and inspect output for quality. You will monitor production, perform simple maintenance, and communicate issues to keep the line running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1–2 years in manufacturing or machine operation, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a mechanical mindset with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in manufacturing or machine operator roles; 3+ years a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Able to read work instructions and use measurement tools
• Comfortable with basic math and metric system
• Reliable, team-oriented and contributes to production goals

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines by loading/unloading parts and making adjustments
• Inspect parts and take measurements to ensure quality
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot to keep machines running
• Track production and communicate issues promptly to maintain workflow
• Follow ISO 14001, IATF 16949 and safety standards
