Job Description
We’re seeking skilled Machine Operator to join a high-performance team. In this role, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to manufacture precision parts and assemblies to exacting tolerances, supporting aerospace and mechanical systems.
- Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools to produce parts to engineering specifications
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical documentation
- Determine tooling, sequence of operations, feeds, and speeds
- Use machinist hand tools and precision measuring instruments
- Perform standard shop math and layout techniques
- Fit and assemble mechanical components
- Perform minor machine maintenance (e.g., filter changes, coolant level checks)
- Deburr, drill, bore, hone, grind, and fasten components as needed
- Operate multiple machines concurrently when required
- Move product across the manufacturing floor and complete system transactions
- Monitor and verify quality in accordance with process control procedures
- Support continuous improvement by assisting and training coworkers
- Train toward and achieve MVP (Manufacturing Versatility Program) qualification
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- CNC machine experience
- Formal apprenticeship or equivalent technical training/experience
- Able to work any shift and stand for full 8-hour shifts
- Capable of lifting, bending, and working in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Experience with machining in a production environment preferred
Per Diem:
A standard per diem of $110/week is available for candidates who reside 150+ miles away from the work location and meet eligibility criteria.
