Job description

Automation Personnel Services is looking for a CNC Machine Operator for a metal supplier based in Alpharetta , GA. This company was established over 100 years ago and is a well-known leader in the metals field. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as interpreting blueprints, operating cnc machines, maintaining machinery , and other related duties.

Pay Rate:

Schedule and Hours:

Monday through Friday, 7 :00am to 3 :00 p m

Some overtime may be mandatory.

CNC Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• O perate CNC machine, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings and calibrate equipment to meet product specifications.
• Assist with reading blueprints and program CNC machines for precise machining instructions.
• Conduct quality checks and first inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines and manage material s to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
• Other duties as assigned .

CNC Machine Operator Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of CNC machine operating experience.
• Previous experience programing CAD and CAM software for CNC machinery highly preferred
• Strong mechanical background and willingness to learn.
• Understand and practice safety policies and procedures.
• Drug screening and background checks are required.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required.
