Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East in Alorton, IL is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join a growing precision manufacturing team. You will machine steel parts and rails to spec, read blueprints, and use digital calipers to verify accuracy.

This full-time position offers steady day or night shifts Monday–Friday, with pay at $22 per hour and opportunities for raises after 90 days and after one year.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months machine operator experience; CNC experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy.
• Ability to read and use tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devices.
• Must be quality oriented and a team player.
• Complete understanding of safe work practices.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable standing for majority of the shift, kneel, squat and climb step multiple times.
• Ability to hear and see parts as they are machined, looking/listening for deficiencies.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and nonverbally.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies and PPE requirements.

Shift:Monday-Friday, 6am-4:30pm or 4pm-2:30am
Pay:$22/hr ($1 increase after 90 days and an additional $1 increase after 1 year)
