Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join a growing precision manufacturing team in Alorton, IL. The role involves machining steel parts and rails, reading blueprints, and ensuring precision with calipers, while following all safety procedures.

The position is full-time with an evaluation hire, Monday–Friday shifts (6am–4:30pm or 4pm–2:30am). Pay starts at $22/hour with increases after 90 days and after 1 year, plus client benefits including

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months machine operator experience; CNC experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read and write legibly and complete production reports with accuracy.
• Ability to read and use tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to inspect rail using measuring devices.
• Must be quality oriented and a team player.
• Complete understanding of safe work practices.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable standing for majority of the shift, kneel, squat and climb steps multiple times.
• Ability to hear and see parts as they are machined; look/listen for deficiencies.
• Effective verbal and nonverbal communication.
