Job summary

Orion Castings - North Billerica facility is seeking a trainee CNC operator to learn production on the floor. You will load/unload parts into CNC machines, inspect parts with basic measuring tools, and monitor for defects under supervision.

You will follow SOPs and safety rules, maintain an organized workspace, and support production and housekeeping tasks. Training is provided, and the second shift runs 4:40 PM–3:00 AM in North Billerica, MA.

Qualifications

• Training provided; no prior CNC experience required.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety rules.
• Willingness to maintain a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload casting components into CNC machines using safe techniques.
• Inspect machined parts with basic precision measuring equipment.
• Watch for defects or machine variances and report to supervisor.
• Follow detailed work instructions and SOPs; participate in housekeeping.
