Job summary

Ilocatum is seeking an experienced CNC Operator Lead to supervise CNC operators, ensure safety, and maintain production schedules on the shop floor. The role emphasizes hands-on CNC operation, setup, and process improvements in a manufacturing setting.

Qualified candidates will have extensive experience with Fanuc controls, CAM programming, CAD software, GD&T, blueprints, and precision measurement tools. Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities are required for this hands-on leadership

Qualifications

Experience operating CNC mills, lathes, presses in a manufacturing environment.
Strong Fanuc controls knowledge and CAM programming.
Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T requirements.

Responsibilities

Supervise and mentor CNC operators while ensuring safety procedures and production schedules.
Oversee setup, calibration, and operation of CNC mills, lathes, stamping presses, and other equipment.
Program CNC machines using Fanuc controls and CAM software based on CAD drawings and GD&T.
Inspect components with calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments.
Verify finished parts meet blueprint requirements and quality standards.
Coordinate material handling, tooling setups, and fabrication activities to maintain workflow.
Troubleshoot CNC equipment and coordinate repairs with maintenance.
Maintain machine operation records, production logs, and quality reports.
Identify opportunities to improve machining processes, productivity, and quality.
