• Strong hands-on experience setting up CNC milling machines.

• Ability to troubleshoot setup issues and adjust tooling/offsets.
• Proven leadership of a small production team.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC milling and turning equipment using current programs and documented setup instructions.
• Support setups on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment, with a focus on milling.
• Adjust tooling and offsets to ensure successful setups and production.
• Run and verify new programs prepared by the programming team; no programming required.
• Provide hands-on leadership to approximately 6–7 employees and maintain production flow.

This is a hands‑on opportunity for an experienced machinist with strong CNC setup skills, particularly in milling, who can provide daily guidance to a small production team. This is a 1st shift opportunity working 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC milling and turning equipment using existing programs and documented setup instructions.
• Support setups on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis equipment, with a primary focus on milling.
• Adjust tooling and offsets as needed to support successful setups and continued production.
• Run and verify new programs prepared by the programming team; no programming required.
• Provide hands‑on leadership to approximately 6–7 employees, helping resolve setup issues and maintain production flow.

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience setting up CNC milling machines; CNC turning experience also needed.
• Experience with multi‑axis CNC equipment and familiarity with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to follow detailed setup instructions and work with existing CNC programs.
• Ability to troubleshoot setup issues and make tooling and offset adjustments.
• Ability to guide a small team while remaining actively involved in machining and production.
• Will be required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
