Job summary

Precise Aerospace Manufacturing in Yorba Linda, CA is seeking an experienced 1st Shift CNC Lead to support CNC machining operations. This hands-on leadership role includes assisting CNC Operators, supporting set-ups, troubleshooting production issues, and coordinating workflow to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will work closely with the CNC Supervisor, Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure shifts run smoothly and parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

2+ years of CNC machining and set‑up experience.
1+ years in lead or supervisory roles in manufacturing.
Experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
Working knowledge of CNC programming, offsets, tooling.
Experience performing dimensional inspections with calipers, micrometers, gauges.
Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

CNC Set-Up & Technical Support: perform set‑ups on CNC mills and lathes according to work instructions and drawings.
Provide basic CNC programming and tool offsets.
Troubleshoot machining and process issues during the shift.
Assist Operators with operation, set‑ups, tooling, and questions.
Ensure machines are ready for production and coordinate priorities.
Support training of CNC Operators on procedures and work instructions.
Maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards throughout the shift.
