Job summary

Precise Aerospace Manufacturing in Yorba Linda, CA is seeking a CNC Lead to supervise daily operations on the 2nd shift. The role includes machine set-ups, troubleshooting, quality inspections, and ensuring safety while meeting production priorities.

Training starts on the 1st shift for 1–2 months, then shifts to 2nd shift. You will guide CNC Operators, coordinate daily tasks, review drawings and tolerances, and promote teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC machining and setup experience in manufacturing.
• 1+ year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes.
• Knowledge of CNC programming, offsets, tooling, and processes.
• Experience with dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Perform CNC set-ups on mills and lathes per work instructions.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to CNC Operators on second shift.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and process issues during shift.
• Coordinate daily work assignments and production priorities.
• Ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met.
• Train new and existing Operators on procedures.
