Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience machining large components on CNC VMCs, HBMs, or VTLs.
• Ability to perform set-ups.
• Understanding of drawings and specifications.
• Use of precision measuring equipment.
• Familiarity with G&M codes; Siemens or Fanuc controls preferred.
• Journeyman machinist or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of skills assessment and mechanical aptitude test before consideration.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC HBMs, CNC VTLs and CNC Lathes with related attachments.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications; verify dimensions with inspection tools.
• Maintain records and report machine malfunctions or NC program inconsistencies.
• Operate cranes, tow motors, and other equipment; ensure safe, clean work area.
• Comply with health, safety, and company policies; work within a team.
