Job summary

Atlas Fibre, LLC seeks an experienced CNC Lathe Setup Operator for the second shift. You will set up and run Okuma LB3000 and LB4000 lathes, apply offsets and tool changes, and inspect parts for conformance to drawings.

The role requires reading drawings, using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and thread gauges, and maintaining tight attention to detail and quality on every part.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Ability to make offsets and perform tool changes.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, and thread gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Okuma LB3000 and LB4000 CNC lathes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Make machine and tooling offsets as needed; change cutting tools.
• Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet drawing requirements.
