Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a CNC Setup Machinist (Lathes) for the 1st shift in Grayslake, IL. You will program, set up, and operate CNC lathe machines to fabricate parts per customer specs, with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Applicants should have 5 years of hands-on CNC lathe experience, CNC certification or training, and familiarity with blueprints and BOMs. Fanuc controls are preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret complex blueprints, BOMs and drawings.
• 5 years hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC lathe machines.
• Ability to read, write and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC lathe machines per specifications.
• Select, align and mount fixtures, tools, attachments and accessories.
• Operate and monitor machines; check coolant and oil levels.
• Collaborate with Quality Control to inspect during production.
• Maintain safety and clean, orderly work area.
