Job summary

B&A Precision in Milford, CT seeks an experienced CNC Lathe Operator for first shift. You will set up and run 2- and 3-axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, verify processes with G-code, and ensure parts meet exact blueprints and GD&T specs.

You will perform precision measurement and inspection using gages and standard instruments, collaborate with a tight-knit team, and report to the shop President to drive continuous manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years CNC lathe setup/operation experience.
• Familiarity with Fanuc controls and G-code knowledge.
• Strong blueprint reading; GD&T knowledge desirable.
• Proficient with measuring instruments and gages.
• Excellent attention to detail and precision.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run 2- and 3-axis CNC horizontal lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Read and interpret blueprints; apply working knowledge of GD&T to meet specifications.
• Perform precision measurement and inspection, verifying dimensions with gages.
• Collaborate in a team-based environment; communicate status and issues clearly.
• Report to the shop President and contribute to continuous excellence in manufacturing.
