Job summary

B&Z Manufacturing Company Inc. in San Jose, CA, is seeking a CNC Lathe Set-up/Operator who can read, write and understand English. Join a team-focused, punctual and honest environment that handles limited supervised prototype and production work.

You’ll set up CNC lathes such as Hardinge or Nakamura with Fanuc controls, read blueprints with GD&T, and track jobs using our barcode system. Shift is 6 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, with ASAP starting date.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints with GD&T
• Able to follow job travelers and barcode system
• Team-oriented, punctual, honest and able to multi-task

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to Set-up CNC Lathes
• Use of Hardinge, Nakamura with Fanuc style controls
• Read and understand blueprints to utilize GD&T
• Read, and understand company job travelers and must use bar code system for job tracking
• Having your own tools is a plus but not necessary
• Bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese is a plus

Job Details:

• 40 Hours per week
• Day shift = Monday-Friday - 6 am to 3 pm
• Starting Date: ASAP
• Salary: TBD based on experience
