Job summary

B&Z Manufacturing Company Inc. in San Jose, CA, is seeking a CNC Lathe Set-up/Operator who can read, write and understand English. Join a team-focused, punctual and honest environment that handles limited supervised prototype and production work.

You’ll set up CNC lathes such as Hardinge or Nakamura with Fanuc controls, read blueprints with GD&T, and track jobs using our barcode system. Shift is 6 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, with ASAP starting date.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints with GD&T
• Able to follow job travelers and barcode system
• Team-oriented, punctual, honest and able to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes
• Operate Hardinge and Nakamura with Fanuc style controls
• Read blueprints and apply GD&T
• Use barcode system for job tracking
• Keep tools organized; multi-task in prototype/production conditions
