Job summary

Vitesse Systems, LLC in Jessup, MD is seeking a CNC Machinist / Programmer to program, set up, and operate CNC lathes in a prototype and job shop environment. You will adhere to schedules and support production management priorities while upholding company quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining and programming.
• Must have programming experience with MasterCAM on lathe.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints including GD&T.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC lathes.
• Create setup sheets for part programs and discrete operations.
• Inspect parts and validate machining programs via simulations and dry runs.
• Monitor cycle times and ERP data; record progress and quantities.
