Wisconsin Ordnance Works in Oshkosh, WI, is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator to produce precision defense components. You will run CNC lathes, load material, and keep parts in tolerance while reading drawings and following routings exactly.

You will inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and gauges, adjust offsets to maintain tolerance, and stop the line if something is wrong. This role requires ITAR experience and reliable attendance.

Competenze

• 2+ years operating CNC lathes in a production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Comfortable making offset adjustments at the control.
• Reliable attendance and proven adherence to procedures.
• U.S. person under ITAR.

Mansioni

• Run CNC lathes and turning centers through production jobs: load material, run cycles, and keep the machine producing.
• Inspect parts at the machine with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and indicators.
• Make tool offset and wear adjustments to hold tolerance.
• Read drawings, including GD&T, and follow routers and work instructions exactly.
• Record inspection results accurately per our AS9100 quality system.
• Stop and escalate when something is wrong. Nonconforming parts do not move forward.
• Deburr, change tools and inserts, and support setups alongside our machinists.
• Keep your machine and work area clean and safe; follow 5S and safety procedures.
