Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Eastlake, OH for a CNC Lathe Operator B. The CNC Lathe Operator B will be responsible for programming, setting up and operating CNC lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications. Daily tasks include reading blueprints, using measurement tools to ensure accuracy, performing regular maintenance, and adhering to safety standards. The role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work closely with the production team.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating CNC lathes and understanding CNC programming
• CAM experience is required, Gibbs is a plus
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Skills in using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a team
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus
• Experience in the forging or metalworking industry is beneficial but not required
