Job summary

Durex Industries, located in Cary, IL, is seeking a CNC Operator for the 2nd shift to prepare and set up machines for highly precise parts manufacturing. You will operate turning and milling centers and verify parts against blueprints and measuring tools.

Responsibilities include documenting actions, performing quality checks, and maintaining safe work practices. A high school diploma and basic CNC knowledge are required, with a 2nd shift differential and sign-on bonus offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read calipers, micrometers, indicators, edge finder and blueprints.
• Basic understanding of CNC controls and cutting tools.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to deburr and handle parts to customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates highly precision-machined parts by operating turning centers and milling centers per work orders, routers & blueprints.
• Set-up close tolerance and conventional equipment by studying drawings, samples, blueprints, and manuals, installing computerized instructions.
• Documents actions by signing-off and completing forms, reports, logs and records; performs quality tests and operational checks.
