Hire Sync is seeking a CNC Lathe Operator in Euclid, OH to join a precision manufacturing facility. 1st shift. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience. You will operate CNC lathes, read blueprints, and maintain quality with meticulous attention to detail.

The ideal candidate has experience with Fanuc controls, basic shop math, and the use of micrometers/calipers. You will perform setups, tool changes, and part inspections while keeping production records accurate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented machinist who takes pride in producing high-quality components and wants to grow their skills in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has hands-on CNC lathe experience, understands machining principles, and is comfortable working with Fanuc controls, precision measuring instruments, and mechanical drawings.

What You'll Do

• Operate CNC lathes to manufacture high-precision metal components.
• Perform basic machine setups, tooling changes, and fixture adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and work instructions.
• Work with various metals, including stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, and copper nickel.
• Adjust speeds and feeds to maintain quality and production efficiency.
• Monitor machine operations, troubleshoot alarms, and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Identify and correct machining issues involving tooling, chucks, collets, and fixtures.
• Load raw materials, unload finished parts, and perform finishing operations.
• Complete routine machine maintenance and maintain accurate production records.
• Meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Keep machines, tools, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of CNC lathe and/or mill operating experience.
• Experience working with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of machining principles, cutting tools, and metal properties.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, comparators, and other precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to perform basic CNC setups and tooling adjustments.
• Understanding of basic shop math and machining measurements.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently while following production instructions.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs throughout the shift.
• Own or willingness to purchase basic measuring instruments and hand tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a precision machining or manufacturing environment.
• Experience using contour measuring instruments.
• Ability to identify machining defects and make corrective adjustments.
