Job summary

Ace Precision is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our aerospace-focused manufacturing team. You will set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills, read complex drawings and GD&T, and produce precision components for aircraft, defense, and space programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years CNC setup experience.
• Experience with multi-axis CNC milling and aerospace tolerances.
• Strong understanding of feeds/speeds and tooling.
• Ability to edit G-code and troubleshoot machining issues.
• Attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, safety-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi-axis CNC mills to produce precision sheet metal components and finished goods.
• Load tools, set offsets, verify programs, and produce quality parts.
• Read and interpret complex drawings, models, and GD&T requirements.
• Make on-machine edits to improve quality and tool life.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, CMM reports, and visual inspection.
• Collaborate with Programming, Engineering, and Quality on process improvements.
• Maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Follow quality system and safety rules.
• Stay productive by running multiple machines simultaneously.
