Barton Staffing Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Machinist to operate CNC lathes and mills in support of manufacturing processes. You will load parts, tend runs, verify dimensions, and read blueprints to ensure parts meet specifications.

You will measure with calipers and micrometers, monitor tool offsets, and maintain 5S housekeeping. The role requires adherence to ISO 9001:2015 quality standards and TPM practices. Competitive hourly pay is offered.

Qualificações

Pay Range

Pay range-$27.75-$34.00/hr. ($2/hr. Shift differential for 2nd shift)

Overview

The Machinist will operate CNC lathes and mills in support of machining and other manufacturing process operations.

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Responsibilities:

• Machine operation involves loading and tending runs of parts, or performing one-step operations on individual partsPositions and secures tools in holding device, machine tables, chuck, centers, and fixturesVerifies conformance of machined work piece to specificationsReads blueprints, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts for such specifications as dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructionsUnderstand and perform all quality regulations, standards and policies, including but not limited to ISO 9001:2015 and AAR M-1003.
• Follow work procedures and ensure highest level of qualityIndexes turret and adjusts positions of tools at each station in relation to work piece to assure clearance between moving parts and machining of specified dimensions and tolerancesStarts and observes machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjusts machine controls or control media as requiredPressure test parts according to drawing or work procedure
• Performs housekeeping duties including 5S, coolant replacement, and TPMMust be able to perform simple inspection using calipers, micrometers, and other miscellaneous gages
