Job summary

Control Devices is seeking experienced CNC Lathe Machinists to join their 2nd and weekend shifts in Fenton, MO. Earn up to $40/hour and enjoy a schedule with 3 or 4 days off every weekend, plus a robust benefits package after 30 days of employment.

You'll perform complete machine setups, read blueprints, and work with G-Code and M-Code programming in a safety‑conscious, air‑conditioned shop. Join a family‑owned company with stability and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience setting up and operating CNC lathes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and setup documentation.
• Understand and work with G-Code and M-Code programming.
• Set tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups on CNC lathes with minimal supervision.
• Set up, operate , adjust, and troubleshoot CNC lathes to produce quality machined components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and setup documentation.
• Understand and work with G-Code and M-Code programming.
• Set tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Make tool wear adjustments and minor program edits as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and perform minor machine repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain quality standards and accurately complete required production documentation.
• Assist with training operators and less experienced setup personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.

Control Devices is seeking CNC Lathe Machinists to join their 2 nd and weekend shifts in Fenton, MO.

• 2 nd shift: Monday-Thursday 3:15PM-1:15AM – enjoy 3-day weekends!
• Weekend shift: Friday-Sunday 5AM-5PM- work 36 hours per week but get paid for 40!
