Job summary

Control Devices is seeking Experienced CNC Lathe Machinists to join their 2nd and weekend shifts in Fenton, MO. Earn up to $40/hour and enjoy a schedule with 3 or 4 days off every weekend.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and setup documentation.
• Read and interpret G-Code/M-Code programming as part of daily tasks.
• Set tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds for various materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete machine setups on CNC lathes with minimal supervision.
• Set up, operate, adjust, and troubleshoot CNC lathes to produce quality machined components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work instructions, and setup documentation.
• Understand and work with G-Code and M-Code programming.
• Set tooling, offsets, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Make tool wear adjustments and minor program edits as needed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and perform minor machine repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain quality standards and accurately complete required production documentation.
• Assist with training operators and less experienced setup personnel.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
