Job summary

P&F Machining, Inc. in Otsego, Minnesota is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist II for our second shift to produce products on Mazak lathes to P&F standards and customer specifications. We offer a great work environment with a wide range of employee incentives and comprehensive benefits.

Must live in surrounding communities. Minnesota pay transparency applies; actual pay may vary based on experience and education. 5–10 years of machining experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced understanding of GD&T.
• Expert machining methodologies.
• Read and follow job travelers and documentation.
• Program machines on/offline and edit programs.
• Create setups for in-process inspection.
• Review setup sheets for Level I/II machinists.
• Interpret CMM reports and GD&T.
• Develop process documentation for QMS.
• Lead continuous improvement in productivity and quality.
• Produce prototype parts to spec with minimal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift in accordance with safety rules.
• Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
• Follow quality policies and goals and maintain documentation.
• Read and follow job travelers and manufacturing documents.
• Program machines both on and offline and edit as needed.
• Create and save setups for in-process inspections.
• Review setup sheets for Level I/II machinists.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Support Sales, Engineering and Quality teams as needed.
