Adecco partners with a growing precision manufacturing company in Pontiac, MI to hire an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist/Operator. You will independently set up, program, and operate Haas CNC lathes to tight tolerances and produce high-quality components.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, selecting tooling, speeds/feeds, and making program adjustments for optimal machining. Haas controls experience strongly preferred; strong machining fundamentals are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience operating and programming CNC lathes in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Haas CNC controls strongly preferred.
• Solid understanding of machining principles, speeds/feeds, and threading operations.
• Knowledge of G-Code and M-Code programming and ability to modify programs at the machine.

Responsabilités

• Set up, program, and operate Haas CNC lathes with minimal supervision.
• Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs for precision components.
• Read blueprints and engineering drawings to determine machining requirements and the most efficient manufacturing process.
• Select appropriate tooling, cutting speeds, feeds, and depths of cut for various materials and applications.
• Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and program adjustments as required.
