• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or machining apprenticeship preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Programming: Create, test, and modify part programs using CAM software or Haas control with G-code.
• Setup: Perform complete machine setups, load stock, install tooling, set offsets, and run dry runs.
• Operation & Monitoring: Run production lots, monitor tool wear, adjust feeds/speeds, clear chips and coolant issues.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect components using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges to GD&T specs.
• Maintenance: Daily machine upkeep and a clean, safe workstation.

Salary Range: $25.00 To $29.00 Hourly

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Haas CNC Programmer and Operator to set up, program, and run Haas and other CNC mills. This role requires interpreting blueprints, selecting tools and feeds, writing or editing G-code/conversational programs, and inspecting parts to meet exact production standards.

• Equipment: Haas and other CNC Mills, Lathes, or Multi-Axis Centers
• Core Focus: Programming toolpaths, executing machine setups, optimizing cycle times, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Programming: Create, test, and modify part programs using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam) or directly at the Haas control interface using G-code.
• Setup: Perform complete machine setups, including loading raw stock, installing tooling, establishing work and tool offsets, and executing dry runs.
• Operation & Monitoring: Run production lots safely, monitor tool wear, adjust feeds and speeds, and clear chips or coolant issues.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished components using micrometers, calipers, and depth gauges to verify compliance with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Maintenance: Perform daily routine machine upkeep, and maintain a safe, clean work station.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2–5+ years of hands‑on CNC setup, operation, and programming background in a machine shop environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency with Haas control panels and reading complex technical blueprints and CAD/CAM models. Solidworks CAD experience a plus.
• Math & Reasoning: Solid mechanical aptitude and shop math skills, including trigonometry for geometry verification.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or machining apprenticeship preferred.
