Job summary

Javin Machine Corp. is seeking a Class 1 Lathe Machinist to join our team. The applicant will set up and operate a variety of CNC lathes and mill-turn machines to manufacture aerospace parts.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with 5+ years in tight-tolerance manufacturing, able to read blueprints, understand GD&T, and perform light programming as needed in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Experience in tight tolerance manufacturing and CNC lathe work.
• Ability to read prints and interpret GD&T.
• Comfort with light programming when needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture aerospace parts
• Read and interpret blueprints/drawings
• Provide ideas to improve manufacturing and process
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances with measuring tools
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery when needed
• Light programming when required
