Job summary

Javin Machine Corp. is seeking a Class 1 Lathe Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, and is prepared to set up and operate a variety of CNC lathes and mill-turn machines.

The successful candidate will read blueprints, interpret GD&T, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining tight tolerances in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This full-time, in-person role offers benefits such as 401(k), health insurance, and opportunities

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in tight tolerance manufacturing.
• Ability to read manufacturing prints and understand GD&T.
• Familiarity with Lathes and Fanuc Controls.
• Ability to perform light programming (conversational)
• Experience using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC lathes to manufacture aerospace parts.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints/drawings.
• Provide ideas to improve manufacturing and process flows.
• Calculate dimensions and tolerances using measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery as needed.
• Light programming if needed.
