FM Industries is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist 2 in Livermore, CA. The role involves setting up and running repeat or proven parts with minimal direction, reading blueprints, and inspecting parts to ensure quality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ work experience required.
• Vocational education or four years formal apprenticeship preferred.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and G & M code.
• Extensive knowledge of accepted inspection practices.
• Demonstrated ability to operate CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run repeat or proven part(s) with minimal direction.
• Perform DNC communications upload/download of tool program.
• Inspect and measure parts to maintain quality statistics.
• Read blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts.
