Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist to program, set up, and operate Haas and Doosan lathes to produce high-precision tooling and mold components. You will read blueprints, develop NC programs using EZ-CAM, perform setups, and inspect parts with precision gauges; overtime may be required.
This role requires 6+ years of dedicated CNC experience and a strong commitment to safety and quality in a plastics manufacturing environment.

The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes to manufacture high-quality tooling and precision components for a plastics manufacturing plant. This position requires advanced machining knowledge, independent problem-solving skills, and the ability to develop and optimize CNC programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Haas and Doosan CNC lathes, CNC milling operations, and EZ-CAM programming software.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud and the use of PPE (ear plugs) is required.
