Job summary

Lawrence Equipment is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist for our 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 3:30PM-12:00AM) in California. You will set up HAAS lathes, edit programs, read blueprints, and perform precision inspections to ensure high-quality components.

You will collaborate with engineering to improve processes and maintain tooling, while adhering to safety protocols on the shop floor for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist.
• 5+ years exp. setup, edit programs, operate HAAS or Fanuc lathes (ST-30, ST-40 preferred).
• Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques.
• Proficiency in G-Code, M-code, Fanuc controls and blueprint reading.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Machinist to join our dynamic team on our 2nd Shift Mon - Fri 3:30PM - 12:00AM. As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality components that meet our rigorous standards. This position is essential to our commitment to innovation and excellence in manufacturing. The 2 nd shift will have a 5% shift differential.
