Job summary

Allied Mechanical in Ontario, CA is seeking CNC Lathe Machinists for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will set up and operate large multi-axis vertical and horizontal lathes, shaping, finishing, boring and edging large metallic work pieces while maintaining tight tolerances and editing programs. This position is ITAR-restricted requiring U.S.

Person status. Candidates should have experience with Fanuc controllers, be able to read blueprints, and perform tool changes and run times optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience with Fanuc controllers required.
• Set up and operate CNC mills/lathes on complex parts.
• Run parts across multiple machine platforms.
• Adjust machines for run times and part specs.
• Suggest tooling improvements.
• Provide feedback to programming and engineering on performance.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and analyze root causes.
• Rig/flip similar part types using safe practices.

Responsibilities
