Allied Mechanical in Ontario, CA seeks an experienced CNC Mill Machinist to perform highly complex setups and operate multiple machine families. The role requires mastery of CNC machining, rigging, inspection, and problem‑solving, with mentorship responsibilities for other machinists.
The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in aerospace/machine shop environments, strong blueprint reading, and expertise in G-code.

SUMMARY:
The Mill Machinist works independently and provides guidance to others. It is an advanced‑level machinist responsible for highly complex setups, machining large or unique components, developing work holding strategies, and mentoring others. This role requires mastery of CNC machining, rigging, inspection, and problem‑solving. Machinistemployees frequently lead technical initiatives and ensure safe, efficient machining practices across the shop.

SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION
Minimum of a High School Diploma/ GED or a combination of work experience and education will be considered. Certification courses in machining at a trade school are highly desirable.

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing their job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend approximately 0% (excluding breaks and meal periods) of time in an office environment and 100% of the time in the facility. When working in the facility it requires the use of personal protective equipment including (but not limited to) safety slip/ oil resistant shoes, safety glasses, safety gloves as well as other PPE dependent on the work being performed.
