2nd Shift CNC Lathe Machinist

A to Z currently has 2nd shift opportunities in our non-production CNC Lathe machining department for experienced machinists of all levels.

Our second shift employee-owners work 4 days and enjoy a long 3-day weekend! On top of that they also receive a 7% shift premium!

Responsibilities:

• Program, setup and operate Doosan lathes with 12-32 inch chucks, Fanuc controls, 3, 4, and 5 axes.
• Work within a team environment to determine the most efficient and proper method to machine customer parts to blueprint.
• Follow 6S procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and protocol.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• 3+ years of machining experience in a job shop environment required
• Strong problem solving required
• Strong prioritization required
• Strong communication required
• Self-sufficient required
• Must be eager to learn and open to implementing new processes including everything from CAD/CAM to tooling and fixturing.
