Aerotek is seeking a CNC Lathe Machinist for Grantsburg, WI. The role offers $38.00/hour with $166 per day per diem, 50-60 hour weeks, and two shifts (2nd & 3rd).

Location: Grantsburg, Wisconsin
Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
3rd Shift: 10:30 PM - 6:30 AM
Set up, operate, and optimize CNC lathes, CNC mills, and machining centers to manufacture precision components according to established production requirements.
Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce parts in accordance with print specifications and customer requirements.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, CAD/CAM programs, work instructions, and technical documentation.
Perform complete machine setups from start to finish utilizing blueprints and/or CAM programs.
Select, install, and adjust tooling, machine offsets, speeds, feeds, and machining parameters.
Perform tooling changes, offset adjustments, and equipment calibrations as required.
Edit and modify machine programs at the machine utilizing G&M codes.
Utilize precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection equipment to verify dimensional accuracy and part conformity.
Conduct first-article, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and engineering specifications.
Monitor machine run conditions and performance throughout production runs and make adjustments as needed to maintain production efficiency and product quality.
Troubleshoot machining processes, tooling concerns, equipment malfunctions, and production issues to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure machinery remains in proper working condition.
Accurately maintain production records, inspection reports, quality documentation, and manufacturing data.
Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, operational procedures, and 5S manufacturing practices.
This is a fully onsite Contract position in Grantsburg, WI.

This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN.
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $38.00/hr.
