Job summary

Generac is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for its Eagle, Wisconsin fabrication operations. You will create and maintain programs for turret punch, laser cutting, and dimension flats, ensuring efficient fabrication processes and accurate part production.

Responsibilities include updating floor routings and BOMs, solving programming issues, and collaborating with production and engineering teams to optimize sheet metal workflows. A strong background in CAD and CNC control is required.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings and prints.
• Interact effectively with production and engineering teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and PDM/ERP systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of creating AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProE.
• Proficient in SigmaNest, Striker, and G-code/M-code.
• Knowledge of fabrication sheet metal processes including punch press, brake press, laser, and CNC.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain programs for each piece of blanking and welding equipment.
• Maintain floor routings and BOMs required for processing parts through sheet metal department.
• Resolve programming issues.
