Job summary

Pascoe Workforce Solutions in Connecticut is seeking a hands-on CNC laser operator to set up and run laser cutting and laser/punch equipment. You will monitor quality, perform inspections, read blueprints, and use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of CNC experience in metal fabrication or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Trumpf or similar CNC laser or laser/punch equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Experience using precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and learn new equipment and processes.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform first-piece inspections and submit parts for quality approval.
• Read blueprints and work instructions.
• Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, gauge pins, squares, and other measuring tools.
• Identify and distinguish different material types.
• Remove finished parts from laser-cut skeletons and prepare them for the next department.
• Deburr finished parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate ERP production data.
• Follow ISO quality requirements and company safety procedures.
• Assist with other production and shop tasks as needed.

• Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. during training
• Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 3:30 p.m.-2:00 a.m.
