Teems Fabrication Inc. is seeking a CNC Laser Programmer to drive precision on the shop floor. You will use AutoCAD and nesting software to program laser-cut files, coordinate the daily cutting schedule, and maximize material utilization while tracking re-cuts.

This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to collaborate with procurement and production teams and ensure timely delivery of parts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Program & optimize: create/modify laser-cutting files using AutoCAD and nesting software.
• Coordinate daily laser cutting schedule to ensure on-time production.
• Maximize material utilization and track re-cuts.
• Prepare traveler paperwork for parts from the laser to keep workflow organized.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure stock for scheduled runs.
• Report production status and material usage to support continuous improvement.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Program & Optimize: Utilize AutoCAD and nesting software to create, modify, and optimize precision laser-cutting files.
• Control the Schedule: Coordinate and manage the daily laser cutting schedule to ensure on-time production delivery.
• Maximize Efficiency: Maintain and manage our inventory drop list to maximize material utilization and track re-cuts.
• Streamline Operations: Prepare necessary traveler paperwork for parts coming off the laser to keep the fabrication workflow organized.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the material procurement department to ensure necessary stock is ready for scheduled runs.
• Report on Success: Compile and communicate regular production status and material usage reports to help continuous improvement initiatives.

• Technical Background: Strong general computer skills are required. Experience with AutoCAD and exposure to laser production or CNC routers is highly preferred.
