Stanley Black & Decker in Sedalia, MO is seeking a Flexible Operator I for 1st shift. The role supports CNC setup and basic programming, operates Trumpf laser and other equipment, and aims to produce parts to spec while maintaining safety and quality.

You will use Excel and other MS Office tools, read drawings and blueprints, participate in Lean activities, and work overtime as needed. The position offers a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• AS degree preferred; must have CNC setup & programming experience or training.
• Prefer 3+ years of experience.
• Experience with set up reduction and lean techniques.
• Operation & Control.
• Operation Monitoring.
• Geometric tolerances knowledge.
• Troubleshooting & Problem solving.
• Quality Control Analysis.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Ability to read manuals, drawings, schematics with precision.
• Good understanding of quality control principles.
• Good communication (verbal & written).
• Experience with hand tools.

Responsabilités

• Support, basic programming adjustments and operate CNC equipment to ensure models meet specifications.
• Collaborate with service centers and technicians by phone or online.
• Batch jobs to minimize scrap and maximize parts.
• Schedule and document PM actions (daily/weekly/monthly).
• Perform assigned operations and meet performance standards.
• Care for equipment to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement and safety activities.
• Read drawings/blueprints and use measuring tools accurately.
