Job summary

Metko, a Wisconsin manufacturer, is hiring a full-time CNC Machine Operator for the second shift in New Holstein. You will learn CNC laser and press brake equipment and contribute to turning raw sheet metal into finished parts.

We welcome mechanically inclined candidates with a hands-on mindset, math skills, and a commitment to safe, quality workmanship. Training on first shift precedes the regular second shift schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery or other production equipment.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and manufacturing drawings.
• Good measurement skills using calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Safe work practices in an active production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC laser and/or press brake machinery.
• Set up equipment and prepare jobs according to work orders.
• Produce quality metal-fabricated parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Conduct basic quality inspections during the manufacturing process.
• Check parts using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
• Read and follow manufacturing drawings and work orders.
• Complete production and quality documentation.
• Keep the work area clean and ready for the next job.
• Collaborate with teammates to meet customer quality and delivery expectations.
• Follow established safety procedures.
