Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an experienced CNC Laser and Press Brake Operator/Fabricator at our Norfolk, VA facility. You will program, set up, and operate CNC press brake and laser equipment, interpret drawings, and ensure tight tolerances while building precision sheet metal parts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in CNC press brake/laser operation in manufacturing, 2–6 years in precision sheet metal, and strong measurement using calibrated tools.

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years' experience or 2 years post-secondary with 2+ years related experience.
• 2–6 years' experience in precision sheet metal and related tooling.
• 2–6 years' experience fabricating, fitting, and assembling precision parts per drawings.
• Minimum 3 years CNC Press brake/laser operation in manufacturing (5 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC press brake and laser equipment.
• Interpret drawings and work packages with precision tolerances.
• Measure precision parts using calibrated instruments.
• Fabricate new parts or repair existing ones as needed in manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot minor programming and mechanical issues.
