Job summary

MAT Holdings, Inc. is seeking a fabrication operator to program, set up, and operate various fabrication equipment in Springfield, MN and Jackson, TN. The role includes maintaining inventory, rotating among machines, and inspecting parts to blueprint specs.

Hourly wage ranges from $24.50 to $30.39 with a $1000 sign-on bonus. Eligible employees receive medical, dental, vision, life, and 401(k) benefits, plus paid holidays and vacation. Direct-hire, full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience operating press equipment is required.
• Ability to read, interpret and understand engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate fabrication equipment (presses) with appropriate tooling.
• Maintain and control inventory levels of production materials.
• Rotate among all metal fabrication machines to support production demands.
• Inspect parts against blueprint specifications using calipers and tape measures.
• Lift and move loads up to 50 lbs and maintain safety.
• Maintain productivity and adhere to production pace.
• Perform routine housekeeping and maintenance of equipment.
