Job summary

Fralock is seeking a CNC Operator I (3-Axis) to join our Valencia, CA team. You will set up and run CNC equipment using materials such as Q2, Cirlex, Graphfoil, and Copperfoil, download programs, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role focuses on producing high-quality parts on a tight schedule, with cross-training across stations and collaboration with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two to three years of 3-axis CNC operator experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines and operate multiple machining centers and equipment.
• Perform machine setups including tooling selection, fixture loading, and program loading.
• Make machine adjustments, offsets, and tooling changes to maintain quality and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime and scrap.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings; verify with precision instruments.
• Submit first article inspection to ensure parts meet specs and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineer, and Operations teams to support goals and improvements.
• Provide training and mentorship to other operators.
• Cross-train and rotate across workstations to support production needs.
