Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC laser equipment, especially in flat-sheet or tube applications.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, prints, and dimensions.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and performance in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate flat-sheet and tube laser equipment per orders and prints.
• Verify material type, thickness, size, orientation, and quantity.
• Load parts safely with appropriate handling equipment.
• Monitor cut quality, adjust as needed for efficiency.
• Remove parts, deburr, package, label, and stage as required.
• Inspect dimensions and features with tape, calipers, and gauges.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Troubleshoot basic cutting, feed, and machine issues.
• Track job times, scrap, and material usage in production systems.
• Notify when material, gases, or tooling run low.
• Assist with other shop duties as production needs require.
