Job summary

Synergy Prototype Stamping, LLC is seeking a skilled Laser Operator to join our Clinton Township, MI team. You will set up and operate 3-axis and 5-axis laser cutting machines, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet quality standards.

Experience with Mazak or Mitsubishi lasers is preferred. The role offers full-time hours, overtime, and competitive pay based on experience, with benefits including vacation, holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment (Mazak or Mitsubishi experience is a strong asset).
• Ability to read blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Help Set up and operate 3-axis laser and 5 Axis cutting machines (Mazak and Mitsubishi preferred).
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings.
• Load raw material and unload finished parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality inspections using measuring instruments.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
• Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and keep equipment clean.
• Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
• Keep material logged and organized.
