Job summary

G&W Products in Fairfield, OH, is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator for the 1st shift. You will set up and operate CNC laser equipment, load materials, and ensure parts meet exact specifications while maintaining a safe, efficient production environment.

You will work with engineering and production teams, perform routine maintenance, and help troubleshoot issues to improve cutting processes. This role requires physical stamina and good communication.

Qualifications

• Two years of CNC laser cutting experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety standards for laser cutting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving.
• Ability to lift materials and stand for long periods.
• Clear communication with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines per job orders and blueprints.
• Load materials and adjust settings to meet dimensions and quality.
• Monitor operations and make real-time adjustments to optimize performance.
• Inspect parts with measuring tools to verify specifications.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure reliability.
• Maintain production records and report malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to troubleshoot and improve processes.
