G&W Products in Fairfield, Ohio is seeking an experienced CNC Laser Operator for first shift to set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment and produce precise components. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

You will read blueprints, load materials, monitor operations, inspect parts, and maintain records while collaborating with engineering to optimize cutting processes on a busy production line in our 190,000 sq ft facilities.

Qualifikationen

• Two years of experience operating CNC laser cutting machines in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety standards and procedures for laser cutting operations.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Able to perform physically demanding work, including lifting materials and standing for extended periods.

Aufgaben

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines according to job orders, blueprints, and technical documentation.
• Load materials and adjust machine settings to achieve precise dimensions and quality standards.
• Monitor cutting operations and make real-time adjustments to optimize performance and prevent errors.
• Inspect completed parts using appropriate measurement tools to verify specifications and quality.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and maintenance to support reliability and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production records and promptly report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve cutting processes.
