Job summary

Rhino Tool House in Livonia, MI is seeking a CNC Laser Operator to support manufacturing by maintaining and operating laser CNC equipment, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring maximum uptime.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, document work orders, and work with production and engineering teams to improve processes while following safety policies.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines, tools, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Maintain maintenance records, logs, and work orders.
• Assist with equipment installation, setup, and calibration.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve problems and improve processes.
• Maintain an organized work area and contribute to 5S/continuous improvement efforts.
